sdcc The 2011 San Diego Comic Con is less than 2 months away, and thousands of people are doing ANY and EVERY thing in order to try to acquire a ticket to attend the best comic convention ever.
Comic Con strictly forbids the resale of tickets. Tickets are non-transferrable but the old saying “when there’s a will, there’s a way” still remains valid. Currently, there are no tickets on ebay (give it a few weeks) but there are tons of ads on Craigslist. The current price for a 1 day pass is $500 – YES – $500. Are these people insane? I sure as hell hope someone doesn’t spend that much money for a one day pass. Yes, it’s comic con – but you should still maintain a level of sanity and think about what you are about to do. Instead of blowing $500 for 1 day, save that money and buy tickets the day they go on sale nexe year.
Do you know anyone who is trying to buy tickets, or even sell tickets for that matter? Or are you looking to buy tickets? If so, what’s the most you are willing to pay? or are you thinking about just going next year?
I came across an article on Bleeding Cool that blew my mind.
The first ad is a guy who is looking for girls (obviously) to attend comic con. Now I bet that whoever goes with this guy has NO idea what comic con is, other than 1. the girls get to dress skimpy, and 2. They will get paid. Is this fair? No, but what can anyone do?
The second ad is by far my favorite:

This is def the stupidest ad I have seen, but its craigslist – and I bet she (if shes a girl) got a shit load of replies.
