ICONIC COLOSSAL FRANCHISE TO FORM AT THIRD ANNUAL C2E2

 

WITH PANEL PRESENTATION FROM DYNAMITE ENTERTAINMENT, VIZ MEDIA 

AND WORLD EVENTS PRODUCTIONS

INCLUDING A DEMONSTRATION, EXCLUSIVE SNEAK PEEKS AND GIVEAWAYS!

WHAT:      Voltron®, the franchise that began when the 1980s robot-themed television action series Voltron: Defender of the Universe® launched, makes the robotic hero’s C2E2 premiere with three interactive and family-friendly events, starting with a Voltron: Form Blazing Comics! panel on Saturday, plus a special Sunday Kid’s Day on-floor demonstration for children on the various steps it takes to create a real cartoon—from writing the story, designing characters and animating the actual show. At all events there will be Voltron product giveaways, including a subscription to the Voltron Classics line from Matty Collector at the Saturday panel, and on Sunday, an exclusive sneak peek screening of the all-new Voltron Force® episode, “Deceive and Conquer”!

ON-SITE INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITIES WITH SOME OF THE PARTICIPATING EXECUTIVES WILL BE AVAILABLE.  A QUESTION AND ANSWER SESSION, AS WELL AS PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES WILL FOLLOW THE PANEL.

WHO:       The Voltron: Form Blazing Comics! panel will be hosted by WEP Creative Director Jeremy Corray and include artists, writers, producers and designers from the entire original and iconic Voltron universe:

The Voltron Force: How to make a Giant Robot Cartoon! demonstration will be given by World Events Productions’ Bob Koplar, Voltron Force Executive Producer, and Jeremy Corray, Supervising Producer, as they take kids through the cartoon making process using actual materials from the popular Voltron Force series on Nicktoons.

A special Voltron Force Secret C2E2 Sneak Peek screening of the entire brand-new “Deceive and Conquer” episode will take place with some of the series’ producers.
