See You At Chicago’s C2E2

Chicago’s C2E2 starts tomorrow Friday April 13, 2012 and I am totally stoked!

This is an event that I go to every year and it is the official start to the comic con season – I will be there on Saturday wearing my Official SDCC.CO Blue T-shirt. Stop by and say hello.

I will also be taking a ton of photos so I am looking for any cosplayers – Be warned, I will approach you and ask you to pose!

One awesome thing I am looking forward to is the auction that is being held this year!

More than 220 props, costumes and drawings from Captain America, Iron Man and Thor will be put up for auction at C2E2.

“This auction is really being done out of the loyalty that Marvel Entertainment has for their fans,” says Joe Maddalena of Profiles in History, the Los Angeles-based appraiser conducting the auction. “Fans grew up reading their comic books and enjoy watching their films and now, thanks to the auction, they can also own a piece of the films.”

“Posters and production art and other things are certainly more affordable,” he says. “Regardless, about 60 percent of the major items will all be on display at our booth leading up to the auction and we encourage fans to stop by.”
