Being a Chicagoan, we are very particular when it comes to beer – and the best kind of beer? Well Comic Con Beer of course!
One of my favorite breweries, Revolution Brewing is teaming up once again with C2E2 to bring attendees – Galaxy Hero one of the BEST tasting IPA’s I have ever had. Not only will this delicious brew be available at C2E2 this year, the folks at Revolution are also throwing a party to celebrate on March 3rd from 6-9pm at The Revolution Brewing Tap Room (3340 N. Kedzie Avenue).

Geeks may argue whether or not Batman could defeat Superman in a fight, but one thing they can all agree on is great beer. With that in mind, Revolution Brewing company is once again creating a limited edition brew for Chicago’s biggest comic convention – C2E2 (Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo). I wanted to give you a first-look at the new beer so you could spotlight for your readers and invite you to an exclusive launch party celebrating the beer and pop-culture fest.
Chicago’s renowned Revolution Brewing’s custom Galaxy Hero IPA, is characterized as “an IPA that shoots a raygun blast of Galaxy and Zythos hops into your mouth and leaves a crisp, dry finish.” They created an updated logo, which you’ll find below:
To help blast off the re-launch of Galaxy hero, they will be hosting a party on March 3rd from 6-9pm at The Revolution Brewing Tap Room (3340 N. Kedzie Avenue). The party will play host to a marketplace featuring local vendors like Bric-a-Brac Records & Collectibles, author Clayton Smith and Dapper Press, Shawnimals, Broad Street Jewelry, Salsa Sharks Comic Books, Pajaro Negro, Solo Home Design and more. The first 100 people to RSVP will receive a drink ticket for a complimentary pint of Galaxy Hero and Galaxy Hero sliders – compliments of the Brew Pub – will be served at the party on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Revolution Brewing company has also created a perfect food pair for the exclusive IPA, the Galaxy Hero Slider – slider with a nebula bun (a RAINBOW bun!), black bean paste, chorizo porchetta, salasa verde, pineapple chip all with Pryor Farms beer.
