Comic-Con 2013 Press Application Period is Open

It is finally here! The press application period for the 2013 SDCC is now open!

Here is some important info taken from the email:

Comic-Con International will email you in spring 2013 with instructions on how to register for your Comic-Con press badge. To receive this email notification, please be sure to sign in to your Member ID account and confirm that you did not “opt-out” of email correspondence from Comic-Con International. This information is found in the “Change My Preferences/Unsubscribe” section once you have logged in.

We encourage you to check your email frequently and visit http://www.comic-con.org/cci/cci_press.php for press registration updates and information.

The Press application period will remain open until December 10, 2012. Please read all of the information below carefully before proceeding to the application process.

TO APPLY AS COMIC-CON 2013 PRESS,

you must first determine your current press category. All press applicants fall into one of two categories: First-Time Applicant or Returning Press. To view your category, log in to your Comic-Con Member ID account athttps://secure2.comic-con.org/memberid/.

If you are returning press, your member class will be “press” and your press verification status will be “DUE” or “NOT DUE” (see examples). If you are a first-time press applicant, no press verification status will be displayed.
