2014 C2E2 Review & Pictures

Another great convention has come to an end and C2E2 gets better and better each year. This year the convention was held in South Building of McCormick Place.

Overall the layout was good. While it did not seem there was one main “central” area for people to walk, it did not feel too cluttered. This year marks the 75th anniversary of Batman and fans were greeted by the different variations of Batman over the past 75 years which was really neat. The program guide also featured Batman on the cover. This was the first year that the artist alley was very well covered with big black curtains. You were not able to see any of the top guests unless you purchased their ticket which was a bummer but I can see how the convention organizers want to keep that separate. It is still very cool to get the opportunity to see and walk past Stan Lee!

This year also had some great artists and exclusives. I managed to pick up a decent amount of exclusives and met some of my favorite writers/illustrators from Image and Marvel Comics. Overall the convention was a great success and is the official start to my personal comic con season. I hope you all enjoy the pictures below. Feel free to comment or send your own review/pictures from C2E2!
