MTV AND MTV2 TO DEBUT “GUY CODE HONORS” AT SDCC

Hour-Long Special Features the cast of “Guy Code” along with Appearances by Celebrities and Performances by New Politics and Dillon Francis

New York, NY (July 19, 2013) – As part of “MTV Geekend,” MTV and MTV2 are debuting “Guy Code Honors” on Sunday, July 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.  This hour-long special will feature the cast of MTV2’s hit show “Guy Code,” along with Vin Diesel of “Riddick,” Tyler Posey of “Teen Wolf” and “True Blood” actor Rob Kazinskyas they geek out for one special night, saluting the best movies and TV shows that wowed the inner sci-fi, thriller and fantasy fans in all of us this past year, while looking ahead to the titles destined for greatness in the year to come. The special will also feature performances by New Politics and Dillon Francis, in addition to advance looks at major upcoming films, all while “Guy Code” cast favorites Jon Gabrus, Jordan Carlos, Damien Lemon and Chris Distefano break down which movies, shows, actors, heroes and heroines rocked the hardest.  Click here for a preview clip in which the “Guy Code” cast breaks down the best wingmen in pop culture. 
 
“Guy Code Honors” taped from the first-ever “MTV2 Party in the Park” on Thursday, July 18.  Taking place at San Diego’s Petco Park during Comic-Con International, the evening paid tribute to the fans, hosting thousands for a night of live performances by New Politics and Dillon Francis, along with signings by cast members from MTV’s hit-series “Teen Wolf,” a giant Ferris wheel, a silent disco, explosive fireworks, and more.
