2011 C2E2 Is Almost Here

2011 C2E2 is right around the corner. The Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo starts this Friday March 18th 2011 and is expected to draw more than 20,000 people! C2E2 started last year and has tremendously grown – I did not attend last years expo but will be there on Saturday (wearing my SDCC.CO shirt) – so say hi if you see me!

C2E2 is also getting a ton of publicity. This morning, I picked up RedEye and C2E2 was not only on the cover but also had a 2 page summary of the convention. Rick Bayless – one of the best chefs in Chicago, and probably the nation will be on a panel this Friday. According to an paragraph taken from Redeye:

“Despite his lack of comics geek cred, the award-winning Chicago chef will be one ingredient of “Food and Comics,” an unlikely panel Friday at the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo. It’s just one example of the programming offered at this year’s C2E2 that go beyond the hard-core comics scene.”

The Chicago Tribune also wrote an interesting article on C2E2 as well titled “An A-List Guide to C2E2” – However if you are looking for an insider scoop, I suggest you check out of of my MANY C2E2 related posts since most of these don’t give you detailed info 🙂
