I always love finding cool/rare collectibles. A few months ago I came across an estate sale and had the opportunity to purchase a 1939 Superman #2 golden age comic book. The item was described as being slightly restored but I took a chance and decided to buy it – mind you I paid a VERY pretty penny. I wish I got this dirt cheap but I did not.
I decided to send it off the CGC and it came back with the purple label and graded a 5.0 which is better than I thought. Even though this is restored, it is still a rare comic and rarely show ups for sale. I have decided to try and sell it – so if you or anyone you know is interested in this rare comic, I ask you to contact me or you can check out my auction on ebay – AUCTION.
I have been getting a TON of offers on it already and this will more than likely sell this week. This is the rarest comic I have ever owned and it was a thrill acquiring it. So once again if you know someone who wants to buy this, please let me know. I will even pay a finders fee if a sale is made 🙂
Also has the Full page AD to the New York Comic Con which is really neat!
Did you end up selling the comic?
very nice deal!!!
