If you are in love with comics and Family Guy, then this is a match made in heaven for you. Titan recently announced that they are creating a Family Guy Comic which will be released July 27,2011.
Family Guy is in its 9th season this year, and personally I dont see them lasting too much longer. This season has been crap and it seems that every episode is a repeat of something that happened before… Meg’s obsession with Bryan (and now Joe) ; Extremely long, stupid, repeated scenes of the same thing (Adam West in a Exacvator) ; Over the top and dragged out fights – the peter/chicken fight was good the first time, ok the second time, and ridiculous every other time – not to mention the overdone fight with herbert and the Nazi.
Yes the show has over 27 million fans on Facebook, and has been nominated for 13 Emmy Awards, but I can strongly say they will never reach Simpsons status – plus its not original – if you dont believe me check out the video below. The video has been flipped – Check it out then make your call. Also, if you are one of the hardcore Family Guy followers, I can bet my life that were born in the early to mid 90s – and did not grow up with any good cartoons – or video game systems – (Nintendo, SNES) to say the least.
O yeah, guess what – having a comic book is another item to add to the list – Hmm I believe Simpsons have one too…

While I am not a fan of either series, I think that your view of Family Guy’s future is a little bleak. There have been a few similar jokes, yes, but because they are common perceptions. The police don’t care, the stock market sucks and people will correct others when they believe they know better.
The differences are far greater, including the variety of characters. Family Guy includes characters of different ethnicities and various personality types that The Simpsons does not include.

Yes I know the video was flipped – I was not being serious. For someone who claims they dont care about either show you sure do have a lot to say about a cartoon that you never watch. It was a post – and this is the Internet – you should not take things this seriously.
