Diamond Sets Retailer Summit April 24-26 in Chicago

Diamond Comic Distributors has just announced that they will hold the 2013 Diamond Retailer Summit this year at C2E2 which takes place on April 24-26, at the Chicago McCormick Place Convention Center, which is 2 days prior to this years C2E2.

Plans call for the Summit to kick off with anOpening Night Reception on April 24. A full slate of Sponsor Presentations,Retailing Workshops, Publisher Focus Groups, and Retailer Roundtables is scheduled for Thursday, April 25, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided for all attendees. Friday, April 26 will feature a continental breakfast and a chance to meet one-on-one with publishers before C2E2 professional exhibit hours open at 10:00 a.m., as well as a second round of Retailing Workshops and a ComicSuite User Appreciation Confernece in the afternoon.

At the Summit, Retailers will also have the chance to vote for the best of their peers in Diamond’s Retailer Best Practices Awards (BPAs) with winners announced during Thursday night’s dinner presentations. The Diamond BPAs showcase retailers who represent the best in comics retailing, with such categories as best storefront, best window display, best e-newsletter and more. Summit Attendees will also enjoy complimentary admission for the entire C2EShow, which starts with the Professional Only Preview on Friday, April 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and runs through Sunday, April 28. Summit attendees will receive a valuable Summit Coupon Book good for limited edition items, raffles, and sales — all redeemable by visiting select suppliers on the show floor during the Professional Only Preview hours, plus a Summit Thank You Pack of valuable products from Diamond and participating sponsors and vendors that will be shipped one per location after the show.

Registration is only $45 per person, with a limit of three attendees per retailer account.
