November Hottie Of The Month Lady Luck

It’s November and that means it’s time for a new Hottie Of The Month! I started this concept last month with the intention of featuring the hottest girls in the pop culture industry – either games, comics, movies, etc.

This month it is with great pleasure that I introduce you to Chelsea, AKA LadyLuck. I want to thank her for taking the time to do this interview and provide the pics. I hope my readers at SDCC enjoy them!

What do you do? I am a stay at home mom, but I also do freelance writing and designing.

What do you do for fun?

Play video games. LOL! But really outside of gaming I enjoy watching movies, spending time with my family, designing graphics and invitations/announcements, and hanging out with my friends.

Hobbies? Scrapbooking, Cross Stitch, and collecting video game paraphernalia

Favorite video game of all time?

Hmmm…That’s a tough one. But if I absolutely had to choose I would say Super Mario Brothers, because it was my first game. I had the Super Mario Brothers/Duck Hunt/Track game for Nintendo. If it wasn’t for that bundle, I may never have gotten into gaming.

 Favorite type of movie movie?

Wow, another tough one. I think it really depends on my mood. I really love action/thriller movies like Fast and the Furious, because I like movies that keep me watching. However I also love Horror, Comedy, Sci-fi. It just really depends on what I’m craving at the moment.

 What type of a “nerd” would you consider yourself to be? (sexy, smart, video game, comic book, etc)

Ask me this a couple years ago and my answer would definitely have been different. Now I would say I’m a sexy, smart, gaming mama.

Do you collect anything?

I collect gaming paraphernalia. I have tons of faceplates, t-shirts, and other collectables that showcase video games. I’m also a big Winnie the Pooh fan, so I have tons of that too.

Do you / Have you ever dressed in cosplay? What is your favorite outfit

If not, who would you dress as?

I have dressed in costume, but never for a convention. I’ve always wanted to, but have never had the opportunity. If I had the chance to go to a convention, I think I would dress up as a female video game character like Lara Croft, Rayne (Bloodrayne), Tira (Soul Calibur), or Kitana (Soul Calibur). There are so many great choices out there.

Do you attend comic cons? Have you gone to SDCC?

If so what ones, what is your favorite con? What is one memorable comic con moment?

I have not, not because I don’t want to. I just haven’t been close to any when they were going on. If I ever get the chance, I would love to go.

What is something the world does not know about you?

Hmm… that’s a tough one. I guess it would be that even though I am a very driven person, I’m not someone who is willing to walk all over others to get ahead. I want to earn it, not sacrifice someone to get ahead. I like having that feeling of achievement. I’ve always had a drive to excel and push myself. I know that I have always been my toughest critic, which is why I am so hard on myself. I know that I have to push myself to accomplish my goals.

What is one of your guilty pleasures?

Definitely Chocolate. I love it, and it’s something I like to snack on while gaming as well.

Do you model? Would you ever consider doing a Playboy photoshoot? Why/Why not?

Yes and No. I was a Spokesmodel in the past, but haven’t done anything in a long time. I would not pose for Playboy, because I’m a mom. I want to show my daughter that there are lines you should have and stick to when it comes to your goals. I also don’t feel I should have to get naked to be showcased in a magazine

What is the weirdest thing someone has said or done to you?

When I was in high school, I went out with a girlfriend from college. We decided to meet up with some friends and go bowling. It was a glow bowl night, where they have the lights off and lots of black lights. Well she had really short hair, and while we were walking over to our friends, this guy comes up to us and asked us if we were gay. We told him no, and then he asked if either of us would be interested in dating him.

Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

5 years from now, I hope to have a career in the video game industry working as a community manager for a large gaming company or working within a gaming magazine. I would also like to have a side business selling my graphic designs and invitation/announcements.
